If you are an AppSec expert, a developer curious about security automation or a DevOps engineer looking to add security testing to CI/CD, ZAPCon is the event for you!

The ZAPCon Lineup

The conference has great speakers and sessions scheduled including:

  • An opening keynote from ZAP project lead, Simon Bennetts. Tune in to hear what is on the roadmap for ZAP and how the tool will continue to make security testing easier for developers.

  • User stories that cover implementing ZAP for fintech and mobile applications.

  • Technical sessions that will show ZAP automation and integrations.

  • A Discord community for users to connect with peers and speakers.

ZAP was created in 2010 to be the application security tool for developers. The tool has grown immensely over the last decade. As of 2021, the security testing tool sees over 2,000,000 Docker pulls and 50,000 direct downloads each month.

We ❤️ ZAP

At StackHawk, we are huge ZAP fans. From our outset, we knew that ZAP was the best in class option when it comes to DAST scanners – which is why we built the StackHawk platform on top of it. Simon Bennetts join our team in the summer of 2020 and since then, our love for the tool has only grown.

We are committed to giving back to the ZAP open source community. Our team has made contributions to the source code, created content to help users understand the scanner better, and we are active members of the online user group .

ZAPCon represents an entirely new way to contribute back to the open source community. Bringing this conference to life for the first time is one of our proudest achievements to date. We can’t wait to connect with other users and help create more fans of ZAP all over the world.
